About Me
With extensive experience across the US, Middle East, Africa, and Europe, I have had the privilege of consulting for a diverse range of clients on MySQL, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Supercluster, Exadata, Goldengate, Multitenant, Data Guard, RAC, ASM, RMAN, Oracle Streams, Oracle Grid Control, and database migrations and upgrades. My work involves not only the technical aspects of these systems but also facilitating sessions to define user requirements, developing and delivering end-user training, creating and maintaining project schedules, and preparing and presenting project briefings to executives.
Traveling to countries such as the UK, France, Turkey, Oman, KSA, UAE, Qatar, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda has broadened my perspective and enhanced my ability to adapt to various cultural and business environments. I have held roles ranging from a Database Administrator to a Principal Advanced Support Engineer, gaining invaluable insights and skills in database management and support engineering. My journey in the tech world began with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cairo University, which laid the foundation for my technical expertise.
Throughout my career, I have held positions such as Database Administrator Manager and Principal MySQL Solution Engineer, where I have been instrumental in managing and upgrading complex database systems. My passion for teaching is evident from my time as an Oracle Instructor, where I guided students in Oracle DBA, Oracle Developer, and Java courses. Additionally, my military service as an officer has instilled in me a strong sense of discipline and leadership, further shaping my professional approach.
