Megan Silvey is a passionate Data Science Consultant, educator, and founder of Silvey Solutions, a consultancy dedicated to empowering organizations with actionable, data-driven insights. With experience working with global leaders such as the United Nations, Emeritus, phData, and BankOnIP, Megan brings a strategic, solutions-oriented approach to data science. She is also a celebrated LinkedIn Learning Instructor, having developed multiple courses in coding, mathematics, and applied data science.

Megan holds a Master’s in Data Analytics from Kansas State University and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology from the University of Kansas. Her technical toolkit includes expertise in Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SPSS, and MATLAB, which she uses to clean data, mine insights, engineer machine learning models, and tell compelling data stories through visualization.

Her professional background spans roles in e-commerce analytics at Pro Athlete, pharmaceutical data analysis at SS&C Health, and data internships in both the public and private sectors. Megan also serves as a technical reviewer for O’Reilly, a course developer for Coursera, and has worked on AI-driven visualizations in collaboration with international agencies.

A committed community leader, Megan sits on the board of the Olathe Public Schools Foundation, and previously served as CFO of the nonprofit Care Package Inbound, where she applied her analytical and organizational talents to support community wellness initiatives.
