I hold a PhD, MS, and BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, which has provided me with a strong foundation in technical expertise. My research focuses on low performance in corporate management teams and sports, aiming to uncover underlying factors and strategies for improvement. I am committed to delivering a comprehensive learning experience that equips students with the skills needed to excel in the dynamic field of machine learning. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to contribute to significant milestones in the tech industry. As a co-founder of Inquira, later acquired by Oracle, and a former VP of Corporate Strategy at Softricity, acquired by Microsoft, I have honed my strategic thinking and leadership abilities. Additionally, my role as an angel investor has allowed me to support and witness the growth of several successful startups, including Astranis, Boom, Rappi, and Relativity Space. These experiences have provided me with valuable insights into the intersection of technology, business, and innovation, which I enthusiastically share with my students. Beyond the classroom, I am deeply involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. I have mentored at esteemed accelerators like Techstars Boston, Refiners.co, and Blackbox.vc, helping numerous startups navigate their early stages and achieve growth. My work as a Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) has led to the publication of multiple books on agile methodologies, further establishing my commitment to fostering high-performance teams.
