Miquel Noguer i Alonso is the Founder and Chief Science Officer of the Artificial Intelligence Finance Institute (AIFI), where he leads research and innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, quantitative finance, and financial technology. With more than 30 years of experience spanning investment banking, academia, and AI research, he has established himself as a globally recognized authority in AI-driven finance. His work focuses on translating cutting-edge research into practical solutions that help financial institutions adopt emerging technologies responsibly and effectively.
Miquel currently teaches Asset Management at ESADE Business School and has held academic appointments at some of the world's leading universities, including New York University (NYU), Columbia University, and Cornell University. Throughout his academic career, he has taught graduate-level programs in financial engineering, quantitative finance, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, mentoring students and professionals from across the globe.
