Dr. Pratap Giri, S. is a seasoned finance professional, educator, and author with over three decades of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, and strategic advisory. A Fellow Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Dr. Giri combines academic depth with real-world business acumen, having served in leadership roles such as Director and Company Secretary at CST Valinox Ltd. and Director at Jupiter Bioscience.

For nearly 24 years, he has been an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) across campuses, delivering graduate and executive-level courses in Investment Banking, Project & Infrastructure Finance, Private Equity, and Strategic Finance. His ability to translate theory into practical frameworks makes him a sought-after corporate trainer and visiting faculty at several premier institutions.

Dr. Giri is also a Certified Corporate Director, advising boards and institutions on governance, mergers & acquisitions, and financial restructuring. He is the author of three acclaimed books, including the widely referenced “Investment Banking – Concepts, Analyses and Cases” (McGraw Hill), now in its fourth edition.
