Professor Robert McMillen, MBA, MCT, is a seasoned IT consultant, educator, and content creator with over two decades of experience in networking, system administration, and troubleshooting. As the founder of Tech Publishing, Robert is dedicated to making IT education accessible and impactful through a rich array of video courses, books, podcasts, and blogs designed to equip aspiring professionals with the skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced tech landscape.
A Microsoft Certified Trainer and prolific LinkedIn Learning instructor, Robert has authored more than 80 technical courses, empowering over 1,000,000 students worldwide with practical knowledge in Windows Server, networking, cybersecurity, and more. His educational approach is hands-on, real-world focused, and centered on demystifying complex IT topics for learners at all levels.
Robert’s teaching experience spans institutions such as Portland Community College and Clark College, where he continues to mentor and inspire the next generation of IT professionals. His earlier career in consulting, including leadership at All Tech 1, LLC, provided deep industry insight that now informs his teaching and content development.
