Shabbar Shahid brings over three decades of distinguished service in the Indian Army, underpinned by a solid foundation in mechanical engineering. His career began in the corporate world at Godrej and Boyce Mfg Co., where he gained valuable experience in design and production. In 1988, he transitioned to the Indian Army, serving in diverse roles across 18 different locations and building a broad portfolio of expertise in technology, human resource management, and leadership.

During his military tenure, Shabbar led IT services, managed large teams, and oversaw significant technical and administrative projects. This extensive and varied experience has profoundly shaped his teaching style—infused with practical insights, strategic thinking, and real-world applicability.

Academically, Shabbar holds an M-Tech, an MBA in Financial Management, and a PhD in Management. He has also completed numerous Army and civilian courses to continually expand his knowledge and skills.
