Jairo Sánchez

Jairo is a seasoned supply chain management expert with over 22 years of experience in logistics, procurement, and operations across multinational and national companies. Holding an MBA in Supply Chain and Procurement Management with a specialization in Telematics, as well as a background in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, he has successfully led logistics and supply chain operations throughout Latin America. Throughout his career, Jairo has held leadership roles such as Logistics Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, Operations and Projects Director, Supply Chain Manager, and Commercial Manager for Colombia and Ecuador. His expertise lies in demand planning, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, helping businesses optimize their supply chains for competitive advantage. As a consultant, Jairo collaborates with a diverse range of clients to identify process improvement opportunities, implement cost reduction strategies, and mitigate operational risks. He also specializes in selecting and integrating cutting-edge IT solutions to enhance visibility, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making within supply chain networks. Beyond consulting, Jairo is an adjunct professor at Universidad Externado de Colombia, where he teaches demand planning, management information systems, and business intelligence. His hands-on approach, incorporating real-world case studies and simulations, has empowered over 160 graduate students since 2016, fostering their career growth and enhancing their problem-solving capabilities.
